Geoff Thomas's British Open Tour Diary
"Day Five: Was the day we had all been dreaming of since the first time we hit a golf ball…. playing the Old Course at St Andrews. The weather was perfect with just a small breeze. We had a small gallery watching from behind and when the starter called my name the nerves hit. My caddy handed me the driver and said "big breath lad and swing away" in his strong Scottish accent..."
“Attending the British Open 2013, playing courses such as St Andrews Old, Royal Birkdale, Royal Lytham and St Anne's, Carnoustie, Royal Liverpool and others was for us going to golfers heaven while still alive. A fantastic experience, superably organised, enjoyed with a great group. Book us in for the Masters.” Doug & Mary Owens 2013 British Open Golf Tour
“It was the golf trip of a lifetime playing some of the world's best courses. I'll do another tour as soon as I can! Everything ran like clockwork and Moshy and the drivers work very hard to make it a memorable experience! I did the tour with friends and that made the whole thing even more fun!” Mike Gregg, Director, WiseTech Global 2013 British Open Golf Tour
"The 2011 British Open Tour will provide me with years of special memories. The fantastic courses that we played all had so much history and presence. Whilst all links courses they were all unique in their own way. Presentation, scenery, tee positions, weather, club houses, caddies on the day, all made for an air of excitement as we made our way to the course and lots of discussion afterwards. The genuine friendliness of the Scottish people and their knowledge and love of the game added to the overall experience. The attention to detail from Teed Up was outstanding. Everything went smoothly with a minimum of fuss with Bede and Mike making sure everyone was having a good time." Bob Lee, Managing Director - Macquarie Underwriting Pty Ltd 2011 British Open Golf Tour

"What Lord’s is to Cricket and Wimbledon is to Tennis, St Andrews is to Golf. For golfers, going there is either a pilgrimage, or on the bucket list. John Digby made his trip in time for the 28th Open Championship with Teed Up Golf Tours." To read more of this article by John Digby in Luxury Travel Magazine click here
